The 2024 Esports World Cup will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 4th to August 24th, marking a significant event in the global esports calendar.
The premier event boasts a staggering total prize pool of $60 million and will host competitions across various popular games. Some teams have already secured their spots through direct invitations from event organizers, while others will qualify through regional competitions.

- Dota 2 (Riyadh Masters 2024):
- Dates: July 3 – 21
- Prize Pool: $5,000,000
- Competition Format: 20 Dota 2 teams will compete. Selections for most teams will be based on the EPT interregional rankings, which consider performances in past DreamLeague and ESL One tournaments. Additional teams will qualify through regional qualifiers starting in early June.
- Counter-Strike 2 (report):
- Dates: July 17 – 21
- Prize Pool: $1,000,000
- Competition Format: 15 teams worldwide will compete in the CS-2 tournament. Team Spirit, the winner of IEM Katowice 2024, and Natus Vincere (NaVi), the PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 victor, have already received direct invitations. Other teams will qualify based on their ESL World Ranking, with further spots filled via regional qualifiers.

- Prize Pool: $3,000,000
- Competition Format: The tournament will feature 24 PUBG Mobile teams. Five teams from each PMSL, PMSL CSA, Southeast Asia and PMSL EMEA regions, along with four teams from PMSL Americas, will participate. The lineup will also include the champion of the Challengers League and winners of regional tournaments in Japan, China, and South Korea. Two additional direct invitations will be extended, with the recipients yet to be announced.
