A Rihanna Beverly Hills home shooting was reported Sunday afternoon after police said a woman drove up to the singer’s property and fired multiple rounds at the house.
Los Angeles police said officers responded around 1:15 p.m. local time to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the home in the Beverly Crest area. Authorities said no one was injured. Police said four rounds or fragments struck parts of the property.
The suspect, described as a woman around 30 years old, was taken into custody without further incident, and officers recovered the weapon described as an AR-15-style rifle.
Law enforcement sources said Rihanna, 37, was home at the time but was unharmed. It was not clear whether A$AP Rocky or the couple’s children were present, according to the report. The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is leading the investigation.
Police said the suspect’s name had not been released as of Sunday, and Captain Mike Bland said further information, including booking details, would follow on Monday. A motive has not been established.

The report notes that the incident occurred during a period of heightened public attention for the couple, following A$AP Rocky’s acquittal earlier this year in a separate case.
