Officials of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) are baffled how a 93 year old man could be a father of a boy as young as 20.
Earlier this week, they refused to issue Identity Cards to two men after finding that their father was over 90 years old.
NADRA officials are of the view that the age gap of 73 years between a father and a son is not possible.
The boys were born to Sher Muhammad in 1994 and 1996 after he married for the third time.
“NADRA issued us B-forms, but now they are making us subject of ridicule by not issuing identity cards,” the applicants said.
They said their father married for the third time after he had no children from his two previous marriages.
They demanded of the higher authorities to intervene so that they could get their national identity cards from the NADRA.
