Former interior minister Rehman Malik said on Thursday that the deadlock between the government and protesting forces continuing for days had now ended.
He said nation would get good news in two to three days.
Talking to media in Karachi, he said opposition jirga (council) is endeavoring hard for resolution of the prevailing crisis.
He said both the sides should review their stance carefully and adopt a practicable approach in resolving issues, especially in view of the upcoming visit of Chinese president.
This evening, another phase of talks will start, he informed.
