Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KPK) Ambassador for Street Children, Reham Khan revealed on Friday that she is currently working on the production of two films.
Earlier, in an interview to foreign media, wife of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf(PTI), Imran Khan said that she is producing two films, one is an epic on Khushal Khan Khattak, a Pashtun poet and warrior and reflects KP’s culture and history.
The second one is a romantic comedy, a love triangle about a normal, modern Pakhtoon family like her own, she said about the flick that is mentioned in her tweet.
It has been learnt from sources that the film is named as Jaanan with Canadian film actress and model based in London and Dubai, Armeena Rana Khan in lead role.
About Jaanan, sources quoted Armeena Rana Khan – who is working in couple of others Pakistani films – as saying that “We are currently in pre-production and although I can’t reveal too much detail, I can reveal that it will showcase Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its people in a positive light. It is set to be the first of its kind in Pakistan and I am playing the main protagonist.” She further said that Jaanan is produced by Reham Khan and Imran Kazmi who are working to bring to life the vision of the writer, Osman Khalid Butt.
