Reality TV celebrity Joseline Hernandez was at the center of a commotion at Florida’s FLA Live Arena on Sunday night, following a chaotic end to the exhibition boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III. Hernandez was filmed attacking an unidentified woman, escalating the disorder that had already erupted at the venue.
The cause of the altercation between Hernandez and the unknown woman, who ended up disheveled and blouse-less, remains a mystery. Far from settling the dispute, Hernandez exacerbated the situation by landing several kicks to the woman’s head as she was grounded.
A security guard attempting to mitigate the brawl found himself on the receiving end of Hernandez’s fury. The reality star slapped him multiple times before moving on to assault another woman.
In a quick countermove, the second woman flung her drink at Hernandez, which triggered an aggressive response from Hernandez’s friends. The video captured a shocking scene where someone strikes the second woman from behind, prompting gasps from bystanders.
The melee that involved Hernandez was an offshoot of the original brawl that broke out during the Mayweather and Gotti fight. The referee halted the contest due to incessant trash-talking between the two fighters, leading to Gotti, aged 30, assaulting Mayweather, aged 46. The in-ring brawl went on for about five minutes before spilling into the crowd.
Best known for her fiery temperament on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, the 36-year-old Hernandez is just one among several instances of violent altercations that broke out after the conclusion of the Mayweather fight.
Mayweather, seemingly unfazed by the disorder, watched the unfolding chaos from his perch atop the ropes, an unabashed grin spreading across his face.
