Real Madrid has confirmed that Santiago Bernabeu will open to fans on June 1, 2024, to view the Champions League final.
The club will host a live screening of the match against Borussia Dortmund, continuing a tradition that started with the Lisbon final ten years ago. Since claiming their tenth title (La Decima), the club has opened its doors for each final appearance.
This year marks the first screening in the newly remodelled stadium, following two consecutive Taylor Swift concerts on May 29 and 30. These events raised concerns about the stadium’s availability, but the club has confirmed that the screening will proceed as planned.
Details on ticket availability and purchasing methods will be announced soon. Historically, tickets have been free for club members, while the general public could attend for a fee of 10 euros.
It remains unclear if additional screens will be installed for the event. However, the Bernabeu boasts a 360-degree video scoreboard, enhancing the viewing experience with dimensions unmatched by most stadiums globally. The side screens rise to six and a half meters, with the backdrop screens reaching up to eleven meters.
