Rawal Sharjeel Memon, son of Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, has officially complained with the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), seeking action against defamatory content spread about him online.
The content is associated with the high-profile Mustafa Amir murder case in Karachi.
In his complaint, Memon points out that a YouTube channel called “D Awami Show” published a lengthy video—lasting 17 minutes and 45 seconds—that wrongfully connected him to a drug trafficking ring involved with Mustafa Amir and Armughan Qureshi. The video suggests Memon’s involvement without providing any substantiating evidence, a claim he firmly denies.
The channel, operated by Hanif Dawani, also disseminated the video across social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram. Memon accuses Dawani of intentionally tarnishing his reputation through these actions, which he describes as driven by malicious intent to bring him disrepute.
