Sindh Ranger has rejected Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) strike-call by issuing a warning against ‘forced shutdown’ of businesses, schools, and transport in Sindh.
Earlier, the MQM announced Sindh-wide shutterdown strike for Monday over a party worker, Mohammad Hashim’s, alleged extrajudicial killing.

A spokesman for the paramilitary force quoted Director General Rangers (Sindh) Maj Gen Bilal Akbar as saying that there would be no strike on Monday.
The statement said “The MQM worker, Mohammad Hashim’s, alleged murder is as deplorable as it is unfortunate like any human being’s;however, we cannot allow anyone to bring the life in the metropolis to a paralyzing halt,”
