The paramilitary Rangers arrested three accused and recovered large quantity of weapons from the Shuhada graveyard in the Azizabad area of Karachi late yesterday night.
The paramilitary force conducted a targeted action on the lead provided by hitman Kashif alias David, who was arrested two days back and confessed to killing more than 30 people.
Sources said during the action, Rangers cordoned off entrance and exit routes of the graveyard and apprehended three accused hiding there. The arrested men are said to be affiliated to a prominent political party.
The law enforcers also seized huge cache of weapons including SMGs, buried in the cemetery.
The accused have been shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.
