Karachi: Rangers on Sunday overnight conducted a raid at a house in Azizabad and arrested a Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) supporter.
According to sources, the arrested man has been identified as Muazzam Ali Shah, who is a local businessman and has political affiliation with MQM.
Sources further added that Rangers personnel on board six vehicles raided a house located in front of Abu Turab Imambargah, Azizabad and apprehended Shah.
Later on, protesting against arrest, Shah’s family took to street and protest against the rangers for infringement of privacy and violation of four-walls.
MQM has not given any statement in this regards.
