Former Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja sparked interest by claiming that NASA scientists designed Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet plan.
Ramiz Raja made the statement on a local news channel and quickly went viral on social media, with many users expressing scepticism and humour over the claim. However, while NASA does not directly craft Ronaldo’s diet, the agency contributes significantly to his physical maintenance, even at 38.
Contrary to Raja’s claim, NASA’s actual contribution to Ronaldo’s fitness regimen lies in the Vascusport Regeneration System, a NASA-designed machine used for physical recovery. Installed in his home, it enhances lymphatic flow, boosts endorphin levels, increases oxygen supply to tissues, and speeds up healing. This machine is critical to Ronaldo’s ability to recover quickly from injuries.
Apart from NASA technology, Ronaldo’s strict diet and comprehensive fitness routine are pivotal in his exceptional physical condition. His diet includes beef, avocado, coconut oil, chicken, eggs, and black rice. Ronaldo also undergoes thalassotherapy and cryotherapy sessions, which are crucial for muscle relaxation and injury recovery.
Despite the confusion around his diet’s origins, Ronaldo excels in football. This year, he has scored 46 goals and provided 12 assists, ranking as the third-highest scorer behind Erling Haaland and Harry Kane. His recent performances in the EURO 2024 Qualifiers, where Portugal secured victories against Lichtenstein and Iceland, further demonstrate his enduring prowess in the sport. Portugal’s success in these qualifiers, maintaining a 100% record, is partly credited to Ronaldo’s contributions on the field.
