Ramazan moon sighting committee meeting underway

A meeting of the central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for sighting the crescent of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1435 AH is currently underway.

The meeting, chaired by its Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, is being held in the building of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) camp office, Karachi.

The sittings of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) are being held in the building of Ministry of Religious Affairs near General Post Office (GPO), whereas zonal committees are meeting at various places in their respective areas.

All the authentic moon sighting evidences (Sharai Shahadatain) could be conveyed to the chairman, central Ruet e Hilal Committee at Karachi on cell number 0300-9285203, , 021-9208014,  021 99261412 (Met Department), 051-9205735, 021-99261413, 021 35688307, 021-5688307, 021-9204761, 021-5684550 and 021-99261404.

Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman would announce the decision of crescent sighting or otherwise subsequently on the basis of information received after evaluating the evidence.
