This clarification comes after Khan had initially retracted his proposal amid online criticism, even suggesting that Sawant should consider finding a Pakistani groom instead.
In a separate but related narrative, Sawant responded to a marriage proposal from Pakistani religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi. She emphatically declined in an interview with a private channel, stating, “I am not serious about marrying Mufti Qavi. I don’t know if he has 100 wives or 900, but I alone am equal to 100,000 women, and he wouldn’t be able to handle me.”
