Oscar-winning music director A.R. Rahman says he is busy scripting a film that he also plans to co-produce as well.
There were reports that the Indian singer-composer, who has also composed the music of forthcoming film I, is planning to don the director’s hat but he clarified: “I am not thinking about directing. I am scripting a film and also co-producing it. It’s in the process.”
Directed by Shankar, I is an upcoming Indian Tamil romantic thriller film which features Vikram and Amy Jackson leading an ensemble cast which includes Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Santhanam and Ramkumar Ganesan portraying pivotal roles.
Talking about the movie, Rahman said: “Shankar told me about this story 15 years back and since then he nurtured and worked on this story. I knew about this film so I did this film.”
