In Lahore, during the Pakistan-Zimbabwe cricket series, key locations such as Qaddafi Stadium, the National Cricket Academy (NCA), and the accommodations for the Zimbabwe cricket team have been granted exemption from electricity load shedding.
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has taken significant steps to provide continuous electricity supply to these venues.
According to LESCO sources, four dedicated teams were established on Tuesday to handle all aspects of power delivery, including resolving any technical issues that may arise during the series. Moreover, LESCO officials will be stationed at the Qaddafi Stadium control room and related feeders to monitor and manage the power supply effectively.
To further bolster the reliability of the electricity supply, it has been confirmed that from May 19 to May 31, there will be no interruptions in power at the specified locations. Additionally, Pakistan Cricket Board’s generators are on standby. They will be utilized in unforeseen power outages, ensuring that the series proceeds without any electricity-related disruptions.
