Pyaaray Afzal star Sana Javed will soon make her Lollywood debut in a romantic movie, with first-time director Aamir Mohiuddin at the helm.
“It is a film based on music, in which we are exploring the contrast between classical qawwali and modern pop music. A love story will join the contrast,” shares the director.
The untitled film, which was been written by Akhtar Qayoom, will begin rolling in August. Sana is the only actor cast in the film so far.
“The shooting is supposed to start in August 2016, but it so far seems like an exciting project [that is] being handled in a very organised and professional manner,” said Sana. About her role, she adds, “The character is a surprise that I want viewers to wait for.”
Sana was approached by the producers for the role, and she was happy to be on board. “I enjoy acting. And different mediums add different experience to any artist. Since its going to be my first debut film, I am really looking forward to it.”
