On Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz disclosed plans for launching Lahore’s first public cancer hospital in Valencia Town. This announcement was made during her inspection of the intended site for the new cancer facility in Valencia Town.
During her visit, officials provided Maryam Nawaz with details about the hospital’s proposed location. The Chief Minister outlined the Punjab government’s commitment to employing top-tier doctors and incorporating advanced medical equipment for patient care at the hospital.
She assured the upcoming facility would offer cancer treatment at no cost, marking a significant milestone as Punjab’s first government-run cancer hospital equipped with highly skilled doctors and modern technology.
The event was also attended by notable figures, including former senator Pervez Rasheed, assembly members Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Sania Ashiq, and Dr. Adnan, who accompanied Maryam Nawaz.
