Punjab police have decided to upload photographs of thieves, accused person involved in street crimes, hardcore criminals, robbers and proclaimed offenders on its website besides upgrading this website.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Inspector General of police Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera.
It was told in the meeting that uploading of photographs of criminals and proclaimed offenders at police website is aimed at enabling common man to seek access to information about criminals.
Uploading security guidelines for women will also be made part of process of upgradation of website.
