The Governor of Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, criticized the Election Commission of Pakistan for its handling of the electoral process.
In a recent interview with Saleem Safi on the GEO News program, “Jirga, Governor of Punjab, pointed out that the Commission failed to properly compile and publish results according to Form 45, which is a critical component in ensuring transparency and accuracy in the election results.
Governor Khan highlighted that the Election Commission was responsible for compiling both Forms 45 and 47, and the official results should have been declared based on the data from Form 45. He argued that the omission to do so constitutes either a significant failure or potential misconduct by the Election Commission.
