The Punjab provincial cabinet has officially approved filing a sedition case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The charges against Khan include sedition, incitement to rebellion, and treason. These allegations stem from accusations that Khan has been promoting a narrative against the state and actively participating in a conspiracy aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.
Based on these accusations, the cabinet has agreed to proceed under various sections of the law, including sections 121, 121A, 123A, 153, and 131. Khan is alleged to have delegated tasks to his party leaders to further an anti-Pakistan agenda.
