In the wake of government’s plan to thwart the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Aug 14 Azadi March in Islamabad, the party leadership is considering change in venue of the rally.
The federal government has announced a grand 15-day independence celebration plan
In this connection, a ceremony will be held outside the Parliament House. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and all three services chiefs will attend the ceremony.
A military parade will also be organized on the Independence Day.
The government’s tactic has divided the opinion of PTI leaders who are now advising party leader Imran Khan to consider change in the rally venue.
