The case of the firing incident at PTI rally has been filed at Saddar Police Station in Jhelum.

The FIR has been filed against former provincial ministers of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Nadeem Khadim and Chaudhry Rashid.

Ten PTI workers sustained bullet injuries when a procession of the party was fired upon in Gharmala village of Jhelum, close to the party’s large public gathering at Syed Zamir Hussain Jaffery Stadium.

Chaudhry Nadeem said that his guards fired shots after some PTI workers attacked his residence located in the village.

On the other hand, PTI leader Ijaz Chaudhry claimed that the attack was carried out by PML-N supporters to prevent PTI workers from participating in the public gathering.
