Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi Monday dubbed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) a “political wing of the Taliban”.
“PTI never issued statements against Taliban’s brutality,” Rizvi alleged while addressing a press conference in response to Imran Khan’s statements against Altaf Hussain.
He said that MQM is the only political party which was on the forefront against terrorism.
Condemning Imran Khan remarks against MQM chief, Rizvi said that the PTI chairman used abusive language against Altaf Hussain.
“Imran Khan’s speech against Altaf Hussain was as planned as his Islamabad sit-in,” he said.
The MQM leader alleged conspiracy has been hatched to ‘destabilize peace’ in Karachi, saying Imran Khan issued such statements at a time when army chief is about to visit Karachi.
Rizvi said PTI’s anti-government sit-in has failed, adding that the entire world witnessed how PTI tortured journalists during its sit-in in Islamabad.
