Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek have agreed upon four points for the Azadi and Inqilab March on August 14.
According to sources, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi met the PAT chief, Dr. Tahirul Qadri at the Minhaj ul Quran Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi vowed for a peaceful political struggle within the constitutional parameters.
In a long meeting, both the parties had detailed discussion and agreed on a four-point agenda.
While addressing media, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said “Both the parties will remain within the constitutional sphere. The struggle against the government will be peaceful and non-violent.”
Explaining fourth point, Qureshi informed that none of the two parties will tolerate a martial law in the country.
He also demanded the federal and the Punjab Govt. to remove containers and allow the people participate in the Azadi-March.
