The Punjab government has briefed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leadership about a possible security threat during its massive rally in Lahore.
Spokesman Punjab government Zaeem Hussain Qadri MPA said in a press statement that despite this ban under section 144, PTI is bent upon taking out a rally.
He said, government has told PTI of the security threats and its leadership will be responsible for any untoward incident.
PTI leadership has also been informed in writing in this regard, however, police will discharge its responsibility of arranging security for the PTI rally.
Under the orders of the High Court, there is a ban on rallies and processions on Mall Road.(PhotoNews/APP)
