Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda claimed to have survived an assassination attempt in Karachi’s Delhi Colony on Friday.
Vawda while talking to local news channel said at least four assailants riding motorbikes fired bullets at his car while he was returning from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office. However, on retaliation by his guards, the attackers sped away.
“It is I who speak against MQM, Peoples Party and PML-N. I was returning after submitting evidence in NAB against land grabbing when they opened fire on my car. These tactics cannot stop me”” he added saying his vehicle was bullet-proof.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also took notice of the gun attack on Vawda and Imran Ismail in Karachi.
