Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) senior leader Gohar Nawaz Sindhuon Wednesday filed a reference in Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) for de-seating of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) members.

According to reports, Sindhu has filed the reference to the SJC in personal capacity, stating that ECP members failed to discharge their constitutional responsibilities in 2013 general elections, and that they are responsible for election irregularities.

In the reference, he demanded that the members be de-seated and action should be taken against them over their failure.
