Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to submit a petition against Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in accountability court on Monday.

According to details, PTI leadership has asked its legal advisers to prepare a petition against Dar.

PTI has inquired as to why NAB closed corruption cases and seized investigation against the finance minister.

The party will also stage a protest over the matter outside the Headquarters of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

It should be noted that Ishaq Dar was handed a clean chit by the accountability bureau (NAB) in Rs. 130 billion corruption case citing lack of evidence against the incumbent finance minister.

A spokesman of NAB had stated that the department’s Executive Board Member decided to close the investigation against the minister which was pending for closure since 2001, due to lack of incriminating evidence.
