The federal minister for economic affairs, Ayaz Sadiq, accused former prime minister Imran Khan of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan’s rise (TTP).
The PML-N leader stated the spike in terror strikes was the outcome of Imran Khan’s plan to start negotiations with the Taliban.
“Imran Khan didn’t curb terrorism” He allowed negotiations with Army Public School martyrs (in Peshawar). These agreements have caused a fresh wave of terrorism.
The former speaker requested former army leader Qamar Javed Bajwa to clarify his “role” in “ensuring” the PTI’s victory in 2018. He added GDA representatives said they were pressured to join PTI in 2018.
He claimed that Gen (retd) Bajwa’s support for Imran Khan as prime minister was unprecedented. PTI chairman is “ungrateful to his donors” for accusing the ex-COAS. He stated Khan did the same to Aleem and Jahangir.
He encouraged Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi to be “vigilant” when helping Imran Khan because “his attributes can’t change.”
Sadiq criticized the PTI chairman for using religion in politics, belittling and victimizing competitors, and putting personal interests over national ones.
“The one who talked about Madina committed corruption by accepting Rs6 billion in presents from Toshakhana, declaring one and eating the rest. Madina’s claimants wouldn’t steal or hide wealth.
