The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is preparing to host a major international showcase for the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The exclusive roadshow will take place at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

In an official statement, the PCB described Lord’s as “one of world sport’s most prestigious venues.” The event aims to bring together global investors, commercial partners, and cricket fans. It will highlight the PSL’s growth, commercial strength, and future strategic direction.

According to the PCB, the HBL PSL has rapidly evolved into one of the world’s most dynamic T20 leagues. As expansion plans advance, the board noted it has already received “significant interest from potential ownership groups across the United Kingdom.”

“The London Roadshow aims to build on this momentum by offering investors and fans an immersive introduction to the league’s commercial ecosystem. It also focuses on the vision driving its next phase of growth,” the PCB statement added.

The board expects the event to attract a diverse audience of business leaders, potential franchise owners, and international cricket supporters.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi linked the event to the league’s global ambitions. “The PSL stands as a symbol of excellence and ambition. Taking this Roadshow to Lord’s — the heart of cricketing heritage — reflects our commitment to elevating Pakistan cricket on the global stage.”

He confirmed the UK market has shown “tremendous interest” in acquiring the proposed new teams. “This reinforces PSL’s international appeal. This event is an important opportunity to deepen global partnerships and share our long-term vision for expansion and innovation.”

PSL CEO Salman Naseer emphasised the event’s strategic purpose. “The PSL has established itself as a world-class cricket league with a powerful global following and strong commercial value. Hosting our Roadshow at Lord’s allows us to bring investors closer to the league’s future roadmap.”

He stated that foreign investor interest has been “extremely encouraging.” The league is focused on building “a bigger, stronger and more internationally connected” competition in the coming years.
