Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) crushed Marseille 3-1 on Sunday at Parc des Princes. The win followed their Champions League triumph over Liverpool. Ousmane Dembele scored first, Nuno Mendes added a second, and an own goal by Pol Lirola sealed it. Amine Gouiri scored for Marseille, but it wasn’t enough. PSG edges closer to another Ligue 1 title.
PSG remains unbeaten after 26 games this season. They now lead Marseille by 19 points with eight matches left. A championship could come as early as March 29. If Marseille lose to Reims and Monaco draw with Nice, a PSG win at Saint-Etienne would clinch it. Coach Luis Enrique called it “an exceptional week.”
