ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain on Friday formally summoned a Joint Session of the Parliament on April 6.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif sent a summary to the President yesterday to convene the session over the current crisis in Yemen.
Yesterday, Sharif took a decision to convene parliament’s session at a high-level meeting wherein he was briefed by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Foreign Policy advisor Sartaj Aziz upon their return from Saudi Arabia.
During the session on coming Monday, parliamentarians will debate on whether to send Pakistan Army to Saudi Arabia on the request of the Kingdom
