President Mamoon Hussain in a statement said “Eid is not just a festival, but it is linked with tolerance, harmony and peace. Brothers and sisters of North Waziristan should also be remembered in your happiness who have been displaced for integrity of the country and our bright future,”

Nawaz Sharif said the day of Eid was a day of thankfulness to Allah (SWT) and happiness. In his message on Eid, he also paid tribute to the soldiers busy in operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Imran also felicitated the nation on this occasion and said: “Eid Mubarak to Muslims everywhere. As we celebrate with our families let us also pray for the less fortunate.”

Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah said the philosophy of Eid teaches us to help poor, orphans and needy people. He also paid tribute to the martyred of Zarb-e-Azb operation.

He also said we should think about the country regardless of our personal interests.
