Leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) said earlier today that they want better relationship with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to resolve existing problems of the province jointly.
Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani hoped for friendly relationship with the MQM, saying tensions between the parties would not rise going forward. He said both the parties would have to mutually resolve problems for the progress of Sindh.
Taking to media before the Sindh Assembly session, Durrani also said that law and order situation of Karachi must be discussed and every step should be taken for peace in the city.
Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that criticism is a part of politics but it must not create a wider divide between the parties.
