The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders, including Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, convened in Islamabad to select Sindh’s provincial cabinet members.
Reports suggest that, during the initial phase, about ten members will be sworn into the Sindh cabinet. Expected members include Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sharjeel Inam Memon, and Syed Sardar Shah.
During this assembly, which also saw PPP Women Wing President Faryal Talpur’s participation, the distribution of ministerial portfolios was a key topic of discussion.
Syed Murad Ali Shah, who assumed office on February 27, has yet to reveal his cabinet lineup. This contrasts the quick formation of cabinets in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s 19-member federal cabinet was officially sworn in in a ceremony presided over by President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad. The cabinet includes Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, and others as ministers.
