Karachi: Another blow for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided not to form a coalition with MQM in the provincial government of Sindh.
According to PPP sources, in a high level meeting chaired by Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Bilawal House, Karachi came to the conclusion that it would be in the best interest of the party to let a PPP-MQM alliance wait until the dust settles.
It is obvious, that the PPP is distancing itself from the MQM since Saulat Mirza’s video statement whichhas opened a Pandora’s Box.
Party sources further added that, Zardari telephoned Governor Sindh, Dr Isharat-ul-Ebad, and informed about the party decision.
