Hong Kong-born American pop sensation CoCo Lee, aged 48, tragically died following a suicide attempt.
CoCo Lee’s sisters confirmed this heart-wrenching news through an emotional Facebook post. Per the shared details, CoCo attempted to take her own life at her residence on Sunday, July 2 and was swiftly transported to a hospital. Despite the best efforts of the medical professionals, CoCo remained unconscious and sadly succumbed on Wednesday.
Her sisters also revealed that the struggle with depression had been a part of CoCo’s life for numerous years. Recently, her mental health has taken a substantial downturn. The Facebook post painted a poignant picture: “Although CoCo sought professional help and fought against depression, sadly, the darkness inside her overwhelmed her.”
