Multan police has arrested Qandeel Baloch’s younger brother, Waseem from D.I Khan.
On Saturday, Qandeel Baloch’s parents found dead in her room in Multan. Later on the body of model Qandeel was shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan for autopsy.
According to the autopsy report showed that blockage of breathing, did cause her death.
CPO Multan presented Qandeel’s brother, Wasim, to the media in a press conference late Saturday, saying that initial investigations have revealed that the suspect acted alone and fled to DG Khan after strangling the social media starlet to death, along with two of his friends.

“Qandeel was bringing dishonour to the Baloch people and I could not tolerate that. Also, her issue with the clergyman had increased our troubles,” Wasim said.

The alleged killer strangled her by blocking her breathing with hands. The marks of nails and fingers were found on her neck, but there were no torture marks on other body parts.
According to the autopsy report, the death occurred between 15 to 36 previous hours.
Meanwhile, the name of another brother of Qandeel, Aslam Shaheen, had been added to the FIR. As per initial report, the main suspect, Waseem, was not happy with her joining the showbiz world.
In a fit of anger, he allegedly strangled her on persuasion of his brother Aslam Shaheen.
Police have also added Section 109 to the FIR.
