Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has decided to take part in shutter-down protest called by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Faisalabad on Monday.
PML-Q’s provincial leadership will join the PTI’s protest.
According to PML-Q, Chaudry Zaheer ud Din will spearhead his workers in the protest.
On Sunday, tension gripped several parts of the city where workers of ruling PML-N also came face to face with PTI protestors, shouting angry slogans against each other’s party leader.
Sources said the Faisalabad city administration has called extra police contingents and armoured personnel carriers from other districts.
On the other hand, Dr.Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has convened Core Committee of the party this evening to decide about joining of PTI protest.
