Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) sweeped Azad Kashmir elections results of 41 seats of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
According to unofficial results received so far on Thursday PML-N won big with 30 seats so far, followed by PPP that could seal its victory in nine constituencies.
Meantime, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) trailed with four seats. Azad Kashmir’s Muslim Conference could show its clout in just two constituencies.
Around 423 candidates took part in the elections. AJK Election Commission made necessary arrangements to conduct the elections in a free, fair and transparent manner.
Special security arrangements were put in place as 36,000 personnel of Army, Rangers, Frontier Constabulary and Police were deployed to maintain law and order.
