All is set to operationalize the Gwadar Port today. A grand ceremony marking the opening of trade activities at the port is being held at Gwadar.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will be chief guest on the occasion.
The country’s top political and military leadership will also attend the event including Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Islamabad-based ambassadors of several countries.
Tight security measures have been taken to ensure smooth inauguration of exports through the Gwadar Port.
