Taking personal notice of MQM worker Sohail Ahmad’s alleged extra-judicial killing, Prime Minister (Nawaz) Sharif yesterday ordered an immediate investigation of the incident.
According to the Prime Minister House, the premier has directed the concerned authorities that a report into the case should be on his table first thing in the morning.
Earlier, MQM leader Babar Ghauri telephoned Sharif and detailed him about the situation that arose after Ahmed’s tortured bullet-ridden body was discovered form Mochko area of Mauripur yesterday.
Promising all-out help, the prime minister vouched for justice to the MQM’s slain office bearer at the earliest.
Furthermore, Minister for Interior & Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also taking notice of Ahmed’s murder as well.
