The Prime Minister, Mian Nawaz Sharif on earlier today reiterated his government’s resolve to ensure a merit-based business friendly environment in the country.
“We have a liberal approach towards economy and as a government, our earnest efforts for ensuring transparency, competitiveness and giving an enhanced role to private sector in national economy are eminently clear from our performance”, the Prime Minister said in a meeting with Dominic Barton, Global Managing Director McKinsey here at the PM House.
PM Nawaz went on to say that PML-N government’s economic reforms agenda focuses on achieving self-sufficiency in energy and infrastructure development.
Dominic appreciated the economic growth achieved by the incumbent government.
He further said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a vital project, which is destined to unlock the economic growth in Pakistan and the entire region.
