Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar at Governor House in Lahore earlier today.
Both the leaders discussed national and political issues; and looked for ways to find a solution to the ongoing political crisis.
Governor Punjab informed the PM of his indirect contacts with the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
Earlier, it has been rumored that governor Punjab is trying to part his ways with the government as he finds his status devoid of any authority.
