Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif attended the Senate’s session earlier today for the first time since assuming office.
Prime Minister Sharif praised the role being played by the Upper House in making legislations.
“We were missing each other quite a lot. I have come here to cheer up the opposition members,” he said and pledged that he would regularly attend the Senate’s sessions.
The Senate, he continued, has played an effective role in improving Pakistan’s situation.
