The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has accepted in principle Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s invitation to visit Pakistan, however his Foreign Secretary has placed five conditions.

According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif met the new Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi  at the Hyderabad House in New Dehli. Both the leaders admitted the need of maintaining friendly terms with each other.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited Narendra Modi to visit Pakistan, which he accepted generously.

In a media briefing, Indian Foreign Secretary said that Prime Minister Modi underlined concerns relating to terrorism and urged that Pakistan must abide its commitment to prevent its territory from being used for terrorism.

Indian Prime Minister also urged the Pakistani leader for speedy trial in Mumbai attack case and to pursue cases against accused wanted by India, Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh said.

It was decided on the Kashmir issue that “Foreign Secretaries of the two countries will be in touch to find the best way forward and to extend regional cooperation,” Singh informed the media.

She also said Modi had accepted the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to visit Pakistan.

“All SAARC leaders have invited the PM to visit, he has accepted. The dates have to be worked out,” she said.
