During the briefing the prime minister was told that due to the terrain relief operations were facing difficulties.
The prime minister instructed that medicines and blankets be dispatched to those in need immediately. He added that he will try to release funds for reconstruction of the houses damaged by the earthquake in the next three or four days.
While addressing those affected by the earthquake, the prime minister said he cannot asks the banks to waive their outstanding agricultural loans but told them that he will provide whatever amount the people owe to the banks in the form of a grant, so they may pay off their agricultural loans.
