Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif presided over a meeting of the Ittehad Tanzeem-ul-Madaris earlier today where he stressed that everyone will have to work together to eradicate the menace of terrorism from Pakistan.
The prime minister added that only through concerted efforts can the problems the country is facing be eliminated.
The prime minister told the Ulema that he seeks their consultation on the national action plan.
During the meeting it was decided that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will oversee the issues faced by the Madaris (seminaries).
The meeting was attended by the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef, Director General ISI General Rizwan Akhtar, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and other members of the senior leadership. While the senior Ulema represented the Ittehad Tanzeem-ul-Madaris
