Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and army chief General Raheel Sharif will leave for Saudi Arab today (Thursday) on a daylong trip to mend fences with Riyadh.
According to sources, the PM and military chief would take Saudi authorities into confidence over Pakistani Parliament’s resolution on Yemen.
The PM will be accompanied by Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry.
During the visit, the civil and military leadership will meet King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz to discuss Yemen campaign.
